Mentor comments for 5/15/14[edit source]
- Page Description
- Very good page description, nice work!
Problem Statement
- I'd recommend renaming this section to Design Task to make it sound less like homework. The content is very good though.
- Create a subsection named Design Specifications (or move up Problem Specifications from lower on your page) to go in this section as well.
- In the Design Specifications section include any quantitative specifications that were established by your client or inherent in the project from the beginning.
- Physical size constraints
- Cost of the final product
- Weight constraints
- Size of trapezoidal field of view
- Voltage required
- Minimal light required
- In the Design Specifications section include any quantitative specifications that were established by your client or inherent in the project from the beginning.
Project Specifics
- Change
Project Specificsto Design Methods or Tripwire Implementation to avoid using "Specifics" right after a section on "Specifications".
- System Overview
- Image Sensor
- Control System
- These sections all look great!
- Project Documents
Be sure to include your:
- Final report
- Presentations
- Design reviews
- Expo Poster
- All design documents necessary to make your work reproducible (i.e. wiring schematics, hardware spec sheets, etc)
